金山世外中、小學(xué)部在汲取上海市世界外國語中、小學(xué)二十多年辦學(xué)經(jīng)驗的基礎(chǔ)上,綜合世外小學(xué)境內(nèi)部、雙語部及PYP部的前端課程優(yōu)勢,形成金山世外小學(xué)部頗具特色的“4+1”課程體系。
采用PYP國際文憑組織質(zhì)疑探究的課程模式,以學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)為導(dǎo)向,以打破學(xué)科界限、實現(xiàn)跨學(xué)科整體學(xué)習(xí)為目標(biāo),圍繞六大主題——“自我認(rèn)識”、“自我表達(dá)”、“自我組成”、“身邊科學(xué)”、“地球空間”,以及“技術(shù)工程”開展探究活動。學(xué)生通過生物科學(xué)、天文學(xué)、歷史、地理、人文、美德和科學(xué)等主題式跨學(xué)科學(xué)習(xí)體驗的過程中激發(fā)思考、獲得知識,提高批判性思維和應(yīng)對實際生活的能力,形成積極的生活態(tài)度和高尚的人格魅力。
初中采用世外中學(xué)2.0版雙語課程,采用小班化教學(xué),積極營造外語氛圍,在原有雙語課程的基礎(chǔ)上更加體現(xiàn)課程的時代性、實踐性、選擇性、學(xué)術(shù)性和融合性。形成分科課程與主題課程相融合,拓展型課程與實踐性課程相整合,國家課程為本國際課程浸潤的課程體系,培養(yǎng)具有“愛心、優(yōu)雅、大氣”品質(zhì)的學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生成為具有“中國心、世界眼”的精英后備人才。
On the basis of more than 20 years’ learning experience in Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School and Primary School, Shanghai Jinshan World Foreign Language School combines the advantages of the front-end courses of the domestic departments, bilingual department, and PYP department of the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School and forms a distinctive “4+1” curriculum system.
It uses a PYP international diploma organization studied curriculum mode, which aims to break the discipline boundary and realize a new level of interdisciplinary learning. The research activities will be carried out around six themes: “self-knowledge”, “self-expression”, “self-composition”, “science around us”, “earth space” and “technical engineering”. Through the thematic interdisciplinary learning experience of biological science, astronomy, history, geography, humanities, virtue and science, students can stimulate their thinking and acquire knowledge, improve their critical thinking and ability to cope with real life, and form a positive attitude towards life as well as a charming personality.
Middle school adopts the 2.0 version of the bilingual curriculum of World Foreign Language Middle School and small-class teaching. The school also actively creates a foreign language atmosphere which reflects the contemporary, practical, selective, and academic integration on the basis of original bilingual curriculum. To form a curriculum system that integrates subject courses with main courses, the school integrates expansion courses with practical courses. With a national curriculum system taught in tandem with an international curriculum, the school cultivates students with the qualities of “love, elegance, and magnificence,“ so that students can become the elite reserve talents with both a “Chinese heart and world eye.”
